Tom Clancy's The Division - Interim Report
Normally I only write articles about my work on a project after it's shipped. The Division is by far the longest I've ever worked on a single project and I thought it would be good to publish something. This is the project I'm most proud to be on. It's by far the best engine I've ever worked with, and it's a position where my work is actually visible to the players. So here's just a taste of some of the work that I've helped to make possible.
During production I produced some internal training videos and got to be part of the engine reveal video.

Michael Jackson The Experience (Kinect)
This was actually a fun project to work on. We were a small team working on a prototype engine that had some really cool tech for the Kinect. It didn't fare so well on Game Rankings but it was still a fun game.- Details

New Site 2013
It's been a long time since I last updated the site. 2.5 years have gone by and I love my new job. Working at Massive Entertainment - a Ubisoft studio is basically a dream come true, more on that later. This post will give some detail on all the new bells and whistles now that I've upgraded from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5.
Click read more if you're interested in my setup and what modules and modifications I've made.

Image Processor
I was asked recently to do a relatively simple task: read a TGA file, reduce the size and write it back out. I felt that was too simple so I decided to go a little overboard and also to release my code to the world. A nice bonus is that I have the start of a new tool.
The task was set to only take a few hours. It ended up taking 24 hours and I decided to keep track of the process and document it.
