DataToSource.pl

This is a little perl script I whipped together to convert raw data from multiple files into a header format. This was useful on a project where we needed data during startup but our file system wasn't initialized yet.

Rifts: Promise of Power

I'm a bit surprised that I never wrote anything about Rifts before. This was a game that I worked on a few years ago for the Nokia N-Gage. Unfortunately the game never had a major release, it was finished right around the time that Nokia realized that the N-Gage wasn't as popular as they had hoped. Well we did at least get some reviews (see here, here, and here) with an average Gameranking score of 74%.

Turok

So this is it, my first published AAA game. It's getting some decent reviews (see here, here, and here). It turned out to be a nice looking game with some interesting dinosaur dynamics.

Fixing features

Just to let anyone know I'm currently in the process of (finally) fixing up my site. I had to move from Mambo to Joomla and some things ended up breaking, image galleries and code highlighting most importantly. I've reimplemented them and will be fixing up some of my old entries soon. I'll try to re-enable the comments as well.

Also I've re-published an article I wrote about test driven development using cxxtest. I'll try to finish another article I started a few years ago and never finished about compile time hashing.

And finally in news, Lost: Via Domus is gold! Hooray, my first big budget title that I've worked on. Ok I also worked on Turok but that was only for 6 months at near the start of the project.
